Exterminator: Escape! is the long awaited sequel to the popular Exterminator game. This time around the game has been optimised for the virtual reality gaming community and features faster and more furious action than ever before.

Just Say Cheese

The action of Exterminator: Escape! takes place on the set of a Japanese game show. The set has been taken over by a large collection of mice, each of which boasts its own personality and traits that can be just as annoying as they are quirky. Players need to blast away all of the mice in order to collect their cards and gain certain sets. It is also possible to fire at certain parts of the set, although destroying the wrong types of props can set off booby traps.

Letting Off Some Steam

With its colourful cartoon-like graphics and quirky characters, Exterminator: Escape! manages to pack in plenty of personality. Shooting at the mice and other elements on the screen can be a lot of fun, at least at first. However, the last of a multi-player mode means that there is no real way to connect with other gamers and is likely to mean that the fun factor may be a bit short lived.
